Registration on Club Waddles
April 17, 2009 at 3:53 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | 1 CommentHello, Ducks.
Today, Club Waddles allowing you to register for the login test! Now, Bod720 had made it so that admins could add users to the list through and online form. So, you’re asking, why didn’t Bod720 just let you lot use the online form. The answer is simple – abuse. Bod720 just thought that if Bod720 made an easy form that adds it instantly, people could’ve gone and had loads of accounts for themselves. It also had a some bits wrong with it that made it easy to mess up a couple of things. Any way, you can now register your account here (He have also made it so it looks nice by using the style sheet).
Another short thing: Bod have re-coded the website a bit. to go to a page you tell the web page something that then find the file that is related to it then displays it. You use clubwaddles.com/?page=PAGENAME
Where it says PAGENAME, it gets the .html file. So if Bod put bob, it would get bob.html and where it says ?page= that is how you tell the webpage something (in this case ‘page’)
Bod have also moved the news box to the bottom of the page, and need to get Scooby to design some content for the homepage
(Scooby said that He thinking just draw a duck doing some work or something then He will put the picture on the front page and say under construction click here to find out about club waddles and it will go to the about page)
Club Waddles hope most of that made sense. I’ve tried to explain it in a way that everyone would understand.
Good examples of pages using the new ?page feature:
About: clubwaddles.com/?page=about
Previous test: clubwaddles.com/?page=test
And, of course, the registration page
As always, report any bugs you find to support.clubwaddles.com.
Known Bugs:
The login test will not works, as I have not made it compatible with the new password decoder or activation
